BRAVO... absolutely terrific! This wonderful restaurant has got to be one of the best kept secrets on Long Island! The food... lovingly and expertly prepared and presented... The service... genuinely friendly, courteous, helpful and professional... Ambiance... comfortable surroundings in an elegant upscale casual gendre'... BUT-THE FOOD!!! each plate unique in it's own right and all delicious... Which one was best you ask? All of 'em... It must have been expensive you might say! ... nope, in our opinion one of the best values on LI! When is the best time to go you ask? NOW... ENJOY!
This was our first time here. It was such a gorgeous house surrounded by light and beautiful windows. The staff was kind and courteous. The best part was the food. My husband had a pasta dish and I had the tikka masala. We were so pleased with the portion size and the delicious flavor. We walked out happy and full.
Charming atmosphere and diverse, extensive and interesting menu options. Food was tasty though I was not wowed by it (I had the Canadian mussels as an entrée - mussels were ok, accompanying fries were nicely seasoned and crisp). The burger ordered at our table was substantial in size but lacking in cheese requested. Service was slow though our waitress did apologize for some of the shortcomings and comped us for the wine that was ordered that did not come until right before the dinner was served. One meal at our table was made to order but short on requested ingredients. Maybe it was just a bad night (a weeknight but very busy), possibly short-staffed? Will perhaps try when back in town off-season.
I had a nice time here a while back. The drinks and food are both splendid. The staff is super friendly and good at what they do. The ambiance is very cozy and enjoyable. 5 stars.
I've been here a few times with spouse and friends. Always a nice time, always a good selection of items! Service is attentive and orders accurate. It was a nice ambiance to sit near the gas-powered fireplace! Also great to sit outside when the weather is nice. Definitely will be back when in the area.
